KNOW THE ETHICS ESSENTIAL PART OF THE SOCIETY

Ethics, society, life

Ethics is the major branch of philosophy, encompassing right conduct and good life. Ethics or moral philosophy is a branch of philosophy that secure the concepts of right and wrong conduct. The field of ethics,
along with aesthetics, that concern the matters of value, called axiology.
Ethics clarify the questions of human morality by defining the concepts of good and evil, right and wrong, virtue and vice, justice and crime. the word "ethics" is taken from Greek word ethikos which meaning is character of a person.
according to  Rushworth Kidder ethics is the science of the ideal human character or 'the science of moral duty'.
Richard William Paul and Linda Elder define ethics as "a set of concepts and principles that guide us in determining what behavior helps or harms sentient creatures"
According to Bioethicist Larry Churchill "Ethics, understood as the capacity to think critically about moral values and direct our actions in terms of such values, is a generic human capacity." Ethics can also be used to describe a particular person's own idiosyncratic principles or habits.
Three major areas of study within ethics recognized today are
1- Meta-ethics, concerning the theoretical meaning and reference of moral propositions, and how their truth values can be determined. meta ethics can be divide into cognitivism and non-cognitivism; Non-cognitivism is the view that when we judge something as morally right or wrong, this is neither true nor false. We only express our emotional feelings about the things. Cognitivism based on the matters of fact, not on emotion

2- Normative ethics, concerning the practical means of determining a moral course of action. Normative ethics is the study of ethical action. It is the branch of ethics that investigates the set of questions that arise when considering how one ought to act, morally speaking. Normative ethics is distinct from meta-ethics because normative ethics examines standards for the rightness and wrongness of actions, while meta-ethics studies the meaning of moral language and the metaphysics of moral facts.

3- Applied ethics, concerning what a person is obligated or permitted to do in a specific situation or a particular domain of action. Applied ethics is a discipline of philosophy that attempts to apply ethical theory to real-life situations. The discipline has many specialized fields, such as engineering ethics, bioethics, geoethics, public service ethics and business ethics.
Descriptive ethics - Descriptive ethics is on the less philosophical end of the spectrum since it seeks to gather particular information about how people live and draw general conclusions based on observed patterns. Descriptive ethics offers a value-free approach to ethics, which defines it as a social science rather than a humanity

Ethics are very important in all aspects of life because it is an essential part of the foundation on which of a civilized society is build. A business or society that lacks ethical principles is bound to fail sooner or later.

Integrated National Cancer Prevention and Control Plan in Mexico

Mexico’s health system developing  cancer research and control system with the help of international Automatic Energy Agency (IAEA) which brought together a team of international experts from the IAEA, the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and the Union for International Cancer Control. This would strengthened Mexico’s cancer care capacities and needs in  and highlighted where services can be . The experts visited public and private facilities within the main institutions in the national health system, including the Mexican Social Security Institute, the Institute for Social Security and Services for State Workers, and the Ministry of Health as well as academics and representatives of civil society.

“The recommendations will improve access to cancer care,” said Abelardo Meneses Garcia, Director General of the National Cancer Institute (INCan). “Although our health system is somewhat breakup , improvements are being made in the delivery of health care, such as in the collection of cancer information through a population-based registry which was established a year ago.”

According to a survey done by IARC, an estimated 190 000 Mexicans will develop cancer in 2018 with over 83 000 dying from the disease. These figures are expected to increase by 44 and 51 percent, respectively, by 2030. Mexico’s most common causes of cancer deaths are prostate and lung in men and breast and cervical cancer in women.
The team of experts reviewed all components of cancer control including planning, registration and surveillance, prevention and early detection, diagnostics, treatment and Sedative care as well as radiation safety and security of radioactive sources in medical facilities and the role of civil society.
The experts nominated by the IAEA and our partners. They provide the evidence and recommendations needed to assist the Ministry of Health and the National Cancer Institute to formulate next steps to address Mexico’s cancer burden Outcomes.
The experts provided a number of additional recommendations for consideration. These included Strengthen coordination among institutions in the national health system to improve cancer information and patient access to diagnosis and treatment services nationwide by enabling, among others, cancer care planning and collaboration among health providers at the State level.
Increase the number of PET/CT, nuclear medicine and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) units and review their locations to improve nationwide reach to the public .
Standardize audits of diagnostic services to meet the same levels of quality.
Revise clinical treatment guidelines.
Formulate a National Radiotherapy Development Plan, involving all institutions in the national health system.
Prioritize training in medical physics and Sedative care.
Essential Drugs and the Essential Package of Palliative Care as the minimum standard of Reach countrywide.
Ensure diagnostic reference levels, dose constrains and patient release criteria for radiation safety.
The Pan American Health Organization promotes comprehensive prevention and cancer control programmes, “It is therefore important that the country has an analysis of its needs and can set priorities to fight Cancer . These recommendations will help the country to strengthen planning and effective execution of an integrated national cancer prevention and control plan.
The IAEA is currently providing support to Enhance skills in new radiotherapy and nuclear medicine techniques, and resources for radiotherapy and radiology through its technical cooperation programme.

Know The Air Pollution And Effects On Health

As the our environment becomes hot and more Populated , ourv ehicles engines are continue pumping dirty emissions, and half the world does not have access to clean air, we breathe in Dangerously polluting air. Ten out of nine people now breathe polluted air, which kills 7 million people every year. Health effects of air pollution are serious one-third of deaths due to stroke, lung cancer, and cardiovascular disease are due to air pollution.
It is difficult to avoid air pollution, it does not matter in which areas you live. air pollution are all around us. Microscopic pollutants in the air can damage our body, we can penetrate deep in our respiratory and circulatory system, which harm our lungs, heart and brain.
The lack of visible haze is not an indication that the air is healthy, in  both cities and villages are watching toxic pollutants in the air more than the average annual values recommended by the WHO's air quality guidelines. In order to help people understand better that the air is polluted, the WHO, the United Nations Environment and Climate and the Clean Life Alliance's breathing life campaign have developed online pollution meters.
There are two main types of air pollution - external air pollution due to various types of factories, vehicles engines smoke generation and  indoor air pollution refers to pollution generated by domestic combustion of fuel (due to burning like coal, wood or kerosene), open fire or bad Basic stove in ventilated places. Indoor and outdoor air pollution can contribute to pollution air.

Domestic air pollution kills 4 million people annually and affects countries in Africa and Asia, where pollution fuels and old air pollution technologies are used everyday for cooking, heating and lighting. Women and children, who spend more time inside the house, are most affected.

Major pollutants:  particle are mixture of solid and liquid droplets produced from fuel combustion and road traffic;  Nitrogen dioxide from road traffic or indoor gas cookers; sulfur dioxide by burning fossil fuels; And  ozone is caused by the reaction of sunlight with pollutant from ground emissions, at ground level. Pollutants that affect the people most are particle matter often PM is summarized and used as a remedy for air pollution.
particles with a diameter of 10 microns or less, (≤ PM10) can inhal deep inside the lungs,  even more health-damaging particles are those with a diameter of 2.5 microns or less, (≤ PM2.5). These particles are so small that combines 60 particles make up the width of a human hair.
PM2.5 can goes inside the lung barrier and enter the blood system. They can increase the risk of heart and respiratory diseases, as well as lung cancer.
Ozone is a major factor to increase asthma  and nitrogen dioxide and sulfur dioxide can also cause asthma, bronchial symptoms, lung inflammation and reduced lung function.
How can there be polluted air before affecting our health? For PM 2.5, WHO guidelines say the maximum safe level is an annual average concentration of 10 μg / m3 or less. To encourage cities to reduce air pollution, even if they are unable to meet the ideal safe levels, WHO has set three interim targets for the cities. These are: 15 μg / m3 (interim target 3); 25 μg / m3 (interim target 2); 35 μg / m3 (interim target 1). Many cities are now getting higher than the upper level of the interim target 1.

Air pollution has a devastating effect on children. Worldwide, up to 14% of children aged 5 to 18 have asthma associated with factors including air pollution. Every year, 543 000 children under 5 years of age die of respiratory disease related to air pollution. Air pollution is also associated with childhood cancer. Pregnant women are brought in contact with air pollution, this embryo can affect brain development. Air pollution is also associated with cognitive impairment in both children and adults.

As well as affecting our health, pollutants in the air are also causing chronic environmental damage by running climate change, which is a major threat to health and wellness itself.

This month, the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change warned that if we want to limit global warming to 1.5c, then the power taken out of coal should be eliminated by 2050. If not, we can only see a major climate crisis in 20 years.

The National Weather Service has subsequently post a dangerous weather warning alert about the possibility of severe weather in Lehigha Valley.
Meteorologists say that the incoming cold front will trigger storms this evening in this evening, which will affect the region. Some of these may be serious with harmful winds.
The possibility of widespread hazardous weather is low, with most of the Southern Pokonos and southeast PA hurricanes, Northern NJ, usually the best opportunity in the north and west of Philadelphia's I-95 corridor in Newark.
A 'Bermuda High' is connected to the coast, the weather service says, and southwest flow behind the highest will continue to build sub-tropical airways in today's area. It is expected to be quite hot and humid, with the high 80s in the upper 70s.
The wet weather is expected to be closed till late afternoon and night time. In the forecasts of Mount Holly, it has been said that due to harmful winds and heavy rains, poor drainage floods may start at around 4 PM. Unfortunately, the phrase 'cold front' will almost be oxymoron because it is related to the actual temperature. Weather service says that after midnight, the front will be washed, and meteorologists do not expect much change in the airways for most of the region.
The dew point is expected to fall by about 60 percent in the southern Pokonos and northern NJ, and from the mid 60s to 60s.
In October, it will continue to feel like heat
